4WALL-Nashville, an E.O.E., is seeking a highly motivated individual to successfully develop new clientele for theatrical and event lighting, permanent system sales, boxed goods and used lighting sales in the Nashville areas. This necessitates determining, generating and capturing sales outside of the organization. The main tasks involve securing prospective clientele through market research and direct contact with unknown markets and customers.
|Duties:||Duties and Responsibilities:|
Actively pursing new clients in the Lighting market, specifically in the Nashville and southern region, on a cold-call basis as well as through established contacts;
Providing product quotes to customers as needed;
Evaluating incoming bid proposals;
Suggesting equipment and labor necessary to properly service customers;
Taking customer orders and accurately relaying instructions to Company personnel;
Overseeing project budgeting and forecasting of revenue;
Updating and maintaining customer profile information, including contact names and telephone numbers, for future sales; and
Performing all other sales and related duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.
Proven history of building new customer base;
Previous sales and customer service and lighting/production industry knowledge;
Previous sales experience in permanent themed and theatrical lighting systems;
Current knowledge of the Nashville and surrounding areas;
At least 5 years experience in a comparable entertainment industry-related sales position;
Current customer base in both lighting rentals and production work;
Ability to self-manage;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to work well under pressure;
Must have advanced computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications--Word, Excel and Outlook.
Education and Qualifications:
Some relevant secondary, technical or vocational education or training preferred.
Bachelors degree in a sales or marketing-related field preferred.
Health insurance and 401(k) are offered after satisfactory completion of 90-day probationary period. Position is full-time. A background verification will be required.
