Office Clerk (NJ Office)

Description:4Wall New Jersey is seeking a Full-Time Office Clerk for its Moonachie, NJ location. This position will provide administrative support to the NJ Accounting Department; support the Company’s HR Department and provide telephone support for the location. The position requires someone who is reliable, able to follow directions and exhibits a can-do attitude.
Duties:• Provide receptionist support by answering, screening and transferring inbound phone calls for a heavy-volume phone system
• Receive and direct visitors and customers
• General clerical duties including photocopying, faxing and mailing
• Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems
• Handle requests for information and data for the HR Department and disseminate Company benefits information, new hire and other documentation at location
• Approve weekly payroll for the location and assist with other payroll-related tasks
• Provide support for Company-sponsored initiatives and programs such as the Company’s safety program, worker’s compensation, specialized training, etc.
• Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
• Perform basic accounting and accounts payable-related functions such as posting deposits, scanning checks and mailing checks, invoices and statements
• Perform other administrative duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:Education and Experience
• Stable, consistent work background in an office environment is a must
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Basic accounting, accounts payable or receivables background/knowledge highly preferred
• Some college or business-related courses; Associates Degree in business-related field preferred
• Training or background in Human Resources preferred
